Saint Ailo was a priestess from North Milirin who lived between the Imperial years 76 to 155. After her death, she was unanimously declared a saint by the high priests of the empire, despite being considered a heretic in her early years. Saint Ailo is known for playing a large role in fighting the corruption in and reforming the imperial religion.
Ailo was a compassionate figure, but also unapologetic and unyielding in her demands. As a healer and a prophet, she quickly gained a following which saved her from being repressed by the high priests many a time.
Ailo spent her final years in the remote village of Ailo, which was subsequently renamed in her honor.
